SEO Strategist (Remote US) - Future Opening

About the Role The Content Strategist is a crucial, client‑facing role that is responsible for day‑to‑day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. The Strategist works primarily with Enterprise clients, building holistic marketing strategies that integrate Directive’s services. What You'll Do Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies, implement best practices, and continuously optimize tactics over the client lifecycle, aligning with NSMs. Collaborate with the Associate Director when roadblocks arise. Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights. Apply best‑practice frameworks such as LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production. Goal Setting: Use data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to set and approve client goals with the Associate Director. Project Management: Ensure strategy execution by delegating tasks in Asana, coordinating with specialists, project managers, and client teams; maintain timelines and quality standards. Internal and External Communication: Build client relationships beyond deliverables; proactively communicate timelines, progress, and opportunities to internal leadership via Slack and regular meetings. Reporting: Provide bi‑weekly, monthly, quarterly reports, and bi‑annual business review presentations, tracking NSM progress and deliverables. What You'll Bring Proven track record in SEO and content strategy, including keyword research, on‑page optimization, and link building. Analytical insight and ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics with tools such as Google Analytics. Strong communication skills; comfortable with client‑facing and stakeholder ownership. Familiarity with industry tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar crawling tools. Organizational, project, and time‑management skills. Enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content. Agency experience and B2B tech/SaaS experience. Ability to stay ahead of industry trends, including AI and automation. What We Offer Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary in the $75,000‑95,000 USD range, commensurate with experience and geography.
