Job Overview

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Caregivers / Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Home Care Aides to join our team to provide dedicated, one-on-one safety oversight and personal care. The primary focus of this position is active monitoring, seizure safety response, and protocol implementation to ensure a safe, supportive living environment. The caregiver will also provide companionship and personal care assistance.

We are providing 24/7 care in 3 shifts, AM, PM, and Overnight (NOC shift is an awake overnight).


Caregiver Pay Range

$21 - $25 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Help with light housekeeping and laundry

• Monitor and report changes in clients' well-being or behavior

• Follow care plans and safety protocols

• Assist with medication reminders

• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed

• Foster independence and promote social interaction

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience required

• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS

• 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required

• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening

• CPR certification

• TB test or chest x-ray

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
