Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role: Provides comprehensive nursing care to correctional patients, ensuring individualized treatment aligned with established standards and provider instructions. Responsibilities: Plans, delivers, documents, and evaluates nursing care; supervises nursing staff; observes and reports patient conditions; maintains accurate records; upholds organizational mission and customer service standards. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid RN licensure in Ohio. Current Basic Life Support certification or ability to obtain within 90 days. Knowledge of nursing theories, medical sciences, equipment, and aseptic techniques. Ability to foster positive relationships with staff and patients. Strong physical coordination and dexterity. Preferred Skills: BSN degree, correctional health care experience, and certifications such as CCN or CCHP.
