Surgery Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic orthopedic surgery environment, providing care to patients undergoing various orthopedic procedures.Unit InformationLocation: 2nd Floor Operating Room, City, StateNumber of Operating Rooms: 17Type of Staff: Day Shift: One scrub and one circulator per room, with support techs available for positioning and other duties. Most surgeons are assisted by a PA, CST, or NP. Night Shift: N/APatient Ratios: N/AType of Equipment: OrthopedicEMR System: MeditechKey ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the operating room setting.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment, including the setup of necessary equipment.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Participate in patient education and support throughout the surgical experience.QualificationsRequired Skills: Must have large joint and spine orthopedic experience. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-oriented environment.Preferred Skills: Well-versed in total joint and spine procedures.Work EnvironmentDress Code: Scrubs must be Ciel Blue (sky blue).
