Additionally, the candidate must be able to: Implement lessons created by the classroom teacher that address Pre‑K students’ spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Use diverse instructional techniques such as modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing. Encourage children to develop self‑help skills and independence. Support the Pre‑K teacher with adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs. Promote positive behavior through redirection, positive reinforcement, and adherence to the school’s behavioral policies. Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff. Assist students who may need additional support. Requirements Minimum 2 years of successful assisting in early childhood settings. High school degree required.
