Employment Specialist

Hours Hours: Full-time, 37‑40 hours per week. Shift windows: earliest 8am, latest 8pm. Weekends 8:00am‑4:00pm. Must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Job Description The Employment Specialist will perform personnel and support duties for the Director of Human Resources & Human Resources Operations. The role requires a high level of confidentiality and quality work. Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing and hiring applicants for level 1–5 positions, performing clerical and personnel duties, and handling all HR duties across Bavarian Inn Lodge, River Place, Cass River, and affiliated Gift Shop locations. Pursuit or completion of a degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Six months of hiring experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Neat appearance and friendly disposition. Proficiency with Windows‑based office software, including Excel. Continued education through seminars, books, and classes. Willingness and ability to assist with banquet clearing for Mother's Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving. Ability to obtain all required certifications for the position.
