Controller Salary: $170,000 – $210,000 + 20% annually Our client is currently seeking an experienced Controller to bring added expertise to their accounting team in a high growth environment. The Controller will have the opportunity to lead the accounting function during a pivotal period of business growth and organizational development. High visibility as the Controller is considered a key partner to executive leadership, influencing financial decisions and operational performance. Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, systems enhancements, and strong operating discipline. Gain broad exposure across accounting operations, controls, audit, compliance, and working capital management. Key Responsibilities for the Controller: The Controller will lead all core accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, leases, and month-end close activities. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to US GAAP. Oversee external audit support, compliance activities, balance sheet integrity, and risk mitigation efforts across the accounting function. Partner with finance and business leaders on complex accounting matters, financial performance analysis, and corrective action planning. Play an integral role in acquisition readiness, due diligence, integration efforts, and post-close accounting activities. Qualifications for the Controller: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership of accounting operations and month-end close (in a manufacturing environment).
