Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Job Summary:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide expert consultation and support to school teams during a maternity leave coverage period. The role involves offering practical strategies, training, and professional development focused on behavior modification and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The BCBA will assist with data collection and interpretation, observe classroom interactions, and recommend interventions to help students regulate behavior effectively within the school environment. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with school teams to provide ideas, tips, and training on managing student behavior.
- Assist with data collection processes and interpret behavioral data to inform interventions.
- Observe classroom staff and student interactions to identify behavior support needs.
- Develop and deliver professional development sessions related to ASD and behavior modification.
- Provide recommendations to enhance student regulation and behavioral outcomes in the school setting.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
- Experience working with students with ASD and behavioral challenges.
- Strong skills in data collection and behavioral data interpretation.
- Ability to conduct professional development and training sessions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educational staff.
- Experience working in school or educational settings.
- Knowledge of behavior modification techniques and regulatory strategies in schools.
- Familiarity with classroom observation and assessment methods.
- Temporary maternity leave coverage from now until February.
- Work involves direct interaction with school staff and students in classroom environments.
- Work schedule aligned with school hours and calendar.
- Flexibility to accommodate training sessions and classroom observations as needed.
