About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at PR Family Medicine as a Medical Assistant in Damascus, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to support our healthcare professionals and provide exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

Prepare and maintain examination rooms for patient visits

Record patient histories and vital signs accurately

Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments

Administer medications and vaccinations as directed

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Provide patient education and support as needed

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Certification in Medical Assisting preferred

Previous experience in a clinical setting is required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems

Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Current CPR certification is a plus
