Registered Nurse ICU

Day 4x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Weekend requirements apply. There are options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Assignment Details

Contracts run for 13 weeks starting on 11/16, and for 8 weeks starting on 12/7 and 12/14. No scheduling requests can be accommodated.

Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active RN license in California
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger
• FLU vaccine required, no declinations accepted
• Preferred experience with PA line/Swan Ganz

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the ICU environment
• Float to medical/surgical, telemetry, PCU, overflow, and PACU units as needed
• Administer medication and treatment to patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members

Compliance / Notes

No requests for time off are allowed within the first 2 weeks of the assignment. An EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation, and passing it is required to proceed with the contract.
