Now Hiring: CNC Programmer
Custom Countertop Inc 4905 N 56th St, Lincoln, NE 68504Custom Countertop Inc is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our granite and stone fabrication team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize CNC programs for cutting granite, quartz, and other stone materials
- Read and interpret drawings, templates, and work orders
- Set up and operate CNC machinery as needed
- Ensure accurate tool paths, efficient nesting, and high-quality cuts
- Troubleshoot programming and machine issues
- Maintain accurate digital files and production records
- Work closely with the fabrication and installation teams to meet deadlines
- Follow all shop safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience programming CNC machines (stone, wood, or metal experience considered)
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read technical drawings and templates
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with stone-specific software (AlphaCAM, SlabSmith, or similar)
- Previous experience in a countertop or granite fabrication shop
- Knowledge of different stone materials and tooling
