Base pay range $57,500.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support our engineering team in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems. Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates under the guidance of senior engineers. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and technical presentations. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in a project. Perform basic calculations for load, grade, water flow rates, and material stress levels. Use CAD software and other engineering tools for drafting and modeling. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 0–2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or internship/co-op. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods. Good communication and teamwork skills. EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is a plus. Preferred Qualities: Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
