Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping people and keeping processes running smoothly? Fred Loya Insurance is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing HR team.

In this role, you'll play an essential part in the employee experience—from onboarding new hires to supporting payroll, maintaining employee records, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring compliance. What You'll Do

As our HR Coordinator, you will:

✔ Support payroll by reviewing and auditing employee timecards and resolving timekeeping discrepancies.

✔ Coordinate the onboarding process, including interviews, background checks, orientations, employee badges, and new hire paperwork.

✔ Maintain employee information in our HRIS (UKG/Kronos), process E-Verify, and ensure personnel records remain accurate and organized.

✔ Assist employees and managers with HR questions, reimbursements, pay adjustments, and general HR support.

✔ Coordinate employee offboarding and ensure termination paperwork and system updates are completed accurately.

✔ Support HR compliance initiatives, workplace injury documentation, training coordination, meetings, and special projects.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some college coursework preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative or clerical experience
• Experience with HRIS systems (UKG/Kronos preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-starter who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
