Basic Job Functions: Maintaining shop work tickets, schedule equipment PM’s, maintaining parts inventories and equipment repair logs. Administration of Maintenance Platform (i.e. MaintainX). Outage planning. Ordering and maintaining of all parts inventories. Assign invoices to cost centers and maintaining records of purchases Participates and contributes to company safety program. Maintaining the check list for critical machines Performs other related duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned .Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: One year experience or more in office administrations, including word processing, Excel and computer data entry required. High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 proficiency, preferred. Previous experience in purchasing department.
