*This position is 100% onsite, no opportunity for remote or hybrid work* MMI is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team and help support the financial operations of our U.S. and Mexico facilities. Reporting to the Controller, the General Ledger Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, managing customer pricing, and contributing to continuous improvement within the Financial Department. Key Responsibilities Process weekly cash disbursement for our Mexico operations with direction from Controller.Provide backup support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and billing activities.Own the day-to-day management of customer pricing within IQMS/DELMIAWorks.Manage employee credit card applications charges. Manage the company petty cash account. Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Research and resolve discrepancies involving receiving, supplier invoices, freight charges, purchase orders, and inventory transactions. Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.Verify proper approvals are obtained before tooling invoices are issued.Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.Prepare monthly financial metrics and operational reports.Support standard costing and inventory analysis.Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal processes. Assist with additional account projects and departmental initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a plus.Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
