Position Overview Estimating and Pricing Senior Lead – Space and Launch – Estimating and Pricing, El Segundo, California. Position Responsibilities Leads development of estimates and prices from technical requirements through design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program. Develops, prepares, and validates estimates and prices. Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing, and assembles price proposals. Develops estimating and pricing methods. Evaluates and develops cases. Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, etc.). Incorporates data into, and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Develops solutions to unique challenges that may serve as precedent for future decisions. Recognized as a job expert within the company and consultant to top management. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. 10+ years of experience in a finance‑related position such as Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA). 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Willing to travel domestically as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Active Secret Security Clearance within the past 24 months. Experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, procurement integrity, export control related to development of cost proposals). 10+ years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing functions. 10+ years of experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, estimating and pricing tools and processes. 10+ years of experience supporting audit, fact‑finding, and negotiations. Experience with conflict of interest management. Other Requirements Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $154,700 – $209,300, based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
