Physical Therapist

Job Title: Physical Therapist Department: Ross | Inpatient Rehab Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, other neurogenic disorders, orthopedic problems, burns, amputations, and chronic pain. Assess patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary team leaders to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Deliver a wide variety of treatment techniques, education, and support to patients and families. Facilitate continuing care planning and coordinate with other patient‑care participants including physicians, nurses, and support staff. Evaluate quality of services and participate in outcomes‑management activities. Provide specialized treatments to help patients explore and identify avocational interests, including assessment of interests, use of the internet and local resources, and education materials for post‑discharge planning. Act as the community link and liaison for patients, staff, and consumers of Rehabilitation Services. Minimum Qualifications Licensed or certified physical therapist with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution. One to two years of experience working in a medical setting preferred.
