PLC Programmer / Controls Engineering Supervisor
Responsible for programming, maintaining, and optimizing automated control systems in a food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing environment. This role ensures reliable equipment performance, process efficiency, product quality, and operational safety.
Location & Work Schedule- Cleveland, Ohio (Onsite)
- Night shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 5-day workweek
- Weekend work required based on production needs
- Develop, test, and modify PLC and HMI programs.
- Monitor and control production processes, including temperature, pressure, and flow parameters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
- Integrate PLCs with HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, and field devices.
- Support equipment upgrades, automation improvements, and new system installations.
- Maintain accurate programming and system documentation.
- Ensure control systems operate in compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to operations and maintenance teams.
- Experience in food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing is required.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms and industrial communication networks.
- Strong understanding of process control systems and production equipment.

- Equipment troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Process control and system optimization.
- Technical documentation and system maintenance.
- Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, including refrigerated, wet, and cleaning areas.
- May require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support
