Rate Range: $70-$73/Hr

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer to join our engineering team and help design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
• The ideal candidate has strong experience with Go, backend development, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
• You will work closely with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and applications using Go/Golang .
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Go best practices.
• Integrate applications with databases, message queues, third-party services, and external APIs.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, scalability, performance, and security improvements.
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and observability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong professional experience with Go/Golang .
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional programming concepts.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL .
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB , Redis, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git .
• Understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go's standard library.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
