Working independently as well as collaboratively, it is important for this person to have a positive approach to leadership, teamwork, and a drive to deliver groundbreaking solutions every day.The Expertise You HaveHave at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent, with a preference for advanced studyMinimum 8 years of software design, development and performance testing experienceDeep hands-on experience in Software Performance EngineeringDemonstrated skill in Java, Spring, Python, LinuxHands on experience using tools like jMeter to build performance harness for software benchmarkingWillingness to guide and mentor junior team members on solid engineering practicesPrevious exposure to trading systems or brokerage technologyKnowledge of the FIX protocol is a plusThe Skills You BringAbility to understand end to end platform and identify issues that can cause performance, scalability or resilience issuesEffective analytical, communication, and organizational skills and a willingness to run with multiple tasks at a given timeThrive in a team environment, collaborating openly and actively contributingAble to innovate independently and work with leadershipFamiliarity with event driven and service-oriented processing is requiredDemonstrated work experience with cloud technologies.
