JO B SUMMARY:

Oversees the delivery of medications and supplies to patients by coordinating with local courier services and national carriers. Will perform drivers' duties on an as needed basis. Ensures medications are packaged and transported to the patient to meet appropriate temperature storage conditions. Assists the pharmacy department and local office staff as required. Works under the direct supervision of a licensed registered pharmacist and performs clerical, equipment and delivery activities that are in compliance with the State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

M AJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Orders, restocks and assembles all shipping supplies per KabaFusion ordering processes.
2. Communicates patient and caregiver concerns and questions with appropriate clinical staff.
3. Performs durable medical equipment cleaning and testing as required.
4. Contacts each patient to coordinate delivery or pick up. Proactively informs patient when delivery will be delayed.
5. Utilizes cost-effective overnight common carriers as much as possible.
6. Answers and triages inquiries related to deliveries.
7. Makes deliveries to patients as required. Explains start of care documents clearly and concisely, collects co-pays, and obtain required signatures of patients and/or patient's agent.
8. Processes documentation and collected monies per established local office procedure.
9. Performs other related duties as directed.

S K ILL S AND ABILITIES:
• Good written and oral communication skills
• General computer skills including MS Office, Windows, Outlook, and internet.
• General level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
• High level of multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain performance levels that support the mission and philosophy of the company of providing exceptional patient care services and satisfaction.

E DUC A T I O N AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Home care or related healthcare experience preferred
• Current driver's license in the state requesting employment with a good driving record.
• Proof of liability insurance on personal vehicle if it is used for company business.
