Growing together.About the Facility: Fremont Hospital is a private, modern 148-bed behavioral healthcare facility that provides services to adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults. Services offered include treatment of psychiatric conditions, chemical dependency, and treatment of 'dual diagnosis' (co-existing psychiatric condition and chemical dependency). A variety of treatment programs are available, including inpatient care, partial hospitalization (day treatment) and an intensive outpatient program. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC. About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm and Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 7:00am-1:30pm. The pharmacy is supported by Omnicell automation.Primary Responsibilities:Provides strategic leadership and oversight for all pharmacy services within a single hospital, aligning operations with the hospital's clinical, quality, and financial goalsEnsures safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use, overseeing clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety, and formulary managementLeads, develops, and holds accountability for pharmacy leadership and staff, including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teamsEnsures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and state/federal lawsOversees pharmacy financial performance, including budgeting, purchasing, contract management, and cost-containment initiativesCollaborates with executive leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders, supporting system-wide patient care, quality, and safety initiativesDrives innovation, performance improvement, and strategic growth, leveraging data, technology, and best practices to advance pharmacy servicesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of PharmacyCurrent Licensed Pharmacist in CaliforniaPreferred Qualifications:Experience using computer applications including pharmacy information systems, pharmacy software, word processing, and spreadsheetsThorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services. Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technologyKnowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeuticsDemonstrated ability to effectively participate in interdisciplinary teams and committeesProven leadership, administration, human resources, and managerial skillsProven business acumen includes profit/loss understanding, contract negotiations, and GPO functionProven problem solving and analytical thinking abilityProven effective verbal and written communication skillsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
