Here, you will make an impact by:Assuring compliance to internal procedures and external customer requirements and regulationsRepresenting the customer, evaluating customer complaints and issues, samples and trends, and determining the necessary action plansLeading Corrective Action Prevention Action (CAPA), Risk Management, Quality at the Source and Customer Quality Index initiatives and deploymentAssisting deployment of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology to control Key Process Indicators (KPI)Using statistical techniques to create sampling plans and execute data analysis.Developing new test methods and execute test method validations for new and existing productsParticipating in internal/external quality system and process auditsProviding change management oversight from the quality function to ensure adequate training and/or qualification of changes to assigned products and processesProviding support to process engineering teamYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher in a science, engineering, math, or technical discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Two (2) or more years of experience in engineering, quality, or other technical roleStatistical knowledge and Lean Six Sigma familiarityISO 13485 or ISO 9001 audit experiencePrevious quality experience in a medical device or drug manufacturing environmentExperience deploying industry specific quality system requirements beyond ISO9001 (e.g. NIOSH, CSA, ANSI etc.)Test method development and validation experienceWork location: Aberdeen, SD On-siteTravel: May include up to 10% domestic Relocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum.To comply with these laws, 3M must help assess candidates' U.S. person status.The questions asked in this application are intended to assess this and will be used for evaluation purposes only. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
