Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Teacher (Permanent/Substitute - PRN) to deliver a high-quality educational program and build strong relationships with our students and their families, or to support our teaching staff and Director in creating a caring and safe environment for our children. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, able to work collaboratively in a team environment. They will observe and document children's progress, sharing their findings with parents and staff.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with teachers to design and implement engaging curricula activities that encourage children's participation.
• Ensure the classroom is well-maintained, with adequate materials and a clean environment that promotes a love of learning.
• Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates and progress reports, and engage in informal discussions to build relationships.
• Model good behavior and promote self-help and good hygiene practices among children.
• Support a smooth transition from home to child care center by being approachable and welcoming to families.
• Foster a culture of compliance with center policies and state regulations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of our educational program.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA
• Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
• High energy.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic computer skills.
• Understanding of child development.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Current Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Clear background check and successful health screening.
