About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years preferred License: KY license or compact Certifications: BLS, PCCN, ACLS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios up to 7 - Charting system experience preferred Description: The nurse will provide care in a medical/surgical and telemetry unit. The patient ratio is 7:1 for medical/surgical and 5:1 for telemetry. Pediatric patients may be included in the care roster. Candidates must have experience managing patients with complex medical needs. The position requires adherence to all safety and isolation precautions. Daily operations include administering medications, managing IVs, and performing patient assessments. Candidates should be proficient in various nursing skills, including blood product administration and airway management. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. On-call responsibilities are not required for this position. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced environment and interdisciplinary teamwork.
