Java Developer

Our client is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting modernization initiatives and legacy system maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Madison, WI

What's the Job?

• Provide development support for new and existing software products, including legacy applications and custom solutions.

• Participate actively in Agile development processes, including scrum ceremonies and code reviews.

• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept applications to evaluate technical approaches.

• Implement modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and front-end JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS.

• Collaborate with business and quality assurance teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.

What's Needed?

• At least 4 years of experience with Java development.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript and SQL.

• Experience creating and maintaining web applications.

• Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.

• Experience implementing unit tests and documenting systems or requirements.
