Medical Lab Technologist
$34.25 - $52.14 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Medical Lab Technologist for night shift work in Redmond, Washington. The role involves performing laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, maintaining quality control, and reporting test results to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess specimen acceptability and process specimens according to established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental standard operating procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
- Execute and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Report accurate and timely test results and maintain safe work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Compensation: $34.25 - $52.14 per hour plus third shift differential
