Electrical Technician

Responsibilities This role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic components, parts, and test systems for both developmental and production purposes. It requires applying electronics principles, circuitry, and testing methods to ensure system functionality and reliability. The candidate will collaborate with engineers to clarify design details, create sketches, and recommend circuitry improvements for easier assembly and maintenance. They will set up and conduct functional, environmental, and life tests, analyze data, and adjust circuitry accordingly. Supporting technical documentation, including reports, charts, and schematics, is essential for system evaluation and troubleshooting. Additional duties include fabricating parts using machine tools, evaluating equipment performance, and ensuring quality standards. The role also involves professional communication with customers, providing technical support, estimates, and resolving issues, while escalating complex problems as needed.
