Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment ensure high-quality care delivery act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team authorize work procedures assign duties manage as shift charge and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

To be successful in this role you will be a Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills strong leadership potential superior communication and collaboration abilities and an unwavering commitment to ethical practice quality patient care and a supportive team environment.

• Assesses patients physical psychosocial cultural and spiritual needs through observation interview review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patients response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides leadership support and coordination of units daily operations during designated shift.
• Assists in directing organizing and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
• Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
• Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

We are offering a $20000 sign-on bonus in addition up to $8000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

The schedule for this position is three 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
• One (1) year of clinical RN experience.
• RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Specialty Certification

The 4th Floor Acute Care Cardiac Unit at St. Anthony Hospital an achieved Magnet hospital consists of 36 beds and is primarily a telemetry unit with medical/surgical overflow. Our typical patient population includes heart failure pre and post-cardiac catheterization abnormal arrhythmias vascular surgery TAVRs ablations and other cardiac patients. Our mission is to provide the highest level of quality patient-centered and safe care to all patients who come through our doors while also creating an atmosphere that is fun exciting and engaging to work in. Working on the 4th floor of the hospital provides nurses with an environment that is team-focused supportive and adaptable to the changes in healthcare. Located in Lakewood Colorado St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado.
