Location: Zelienople, PA 16063
Duration: 1year
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday
Typical Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (flexible; other schedules may be available)
Work Setting: 100% Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Quality Control Inspector to perform incoming material inspections and support quality operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, personal accountability, and a commitment to quality. Training can be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and received goods for quality and compliance.
• Complete inspection records, receiving files, and non-conforming material reports.
• Check and unload incoming shipments.
• Count, weigh, and measure materials against invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
• Identify damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials.
• Route materials to appropriate departments.
• Maintain an organized receiving/inspection area.
• Work with other departments to resolve quality discrepancies.
• Perform sampling, testing procedures, and basic statistical analysis.
• Use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
• Enter quality data and prepare reports using computer systems.
• Provide quality support for ongoing projects.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of mechanical inspection experience in an FDA- or ISO-regulated environment preferred.
• Previous quality/inspection experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inspection and sampling techniques.
• Familiarity with ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 preferred.
• Basic knowledge of FDA QSR and/or ISO 9000/ISO 13485 preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Basic MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read operational procedures and specifications.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for more than 4 hours per day.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
