Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Jasper, AL. The ideal candidate will have previous outpatient experience, although new graduates are welcome to apply. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy interventions and treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Conduct patient evaluations and assist in developing treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload, with an expectation of seeing 12-14 patients per day.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize effective communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active PTA license in the state of Alabama.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
