Get to Know Your Team: UT Health East Texas is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, nearly 7,500 employees and over 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. We provide healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service. Responsibilities Makes and schedules appointments for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner. Verifies and pre‑certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures and coordinates day surgeries within the main surgery department. Maintains productivity logs for department director. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Computer experience (Excel/Word). Preferred Job Requirements: Two to Three years of work experience in a medical office.
