Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Psychiatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Previous pediatric psych experience required License: Valid RN License (NH or Compact) Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: Phlebotomy experience - must be willing to perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent population. Description: Psychiatric Registered Nurse needed for immediate start. This position is for a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric facility. The traveler must be aware and willing to work with a pediatric patient population. The Psych RN will perform general or specialized nursing duties under the direction of the Nurse Manager in the care and treatment of residents. Utilize the nursing process to perform the duties of a staff nurse in terms of administration of medication and medical treatment. Comprehensive treatment planning with a multi-disciplinary treatment team is essential. Uphold the vision and mission of the agency by utilizing the Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles in daily practice.
