$30- $45+/hr (open to discussion- varies based on skillset and experience) RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform repairs on diesel trucks.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.
- Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; complete machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
- Inspect the overall condition of truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
- Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
- Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
- Great work ethic

- CDL (preferred)
- Clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequently
