Circulation Assistant

In this role, you'll greet patrons, answer questions, check library materials in and out, update patron records, and direct visitors to library and campus resources. You'll help maintain the library's collection by shelving materials, organizing reserves, searching for requested items, and ensuring shelves remain accurate and orderly. You'll also assist with interlibrary loan materials, oversee patron use of copiers, scanners, and printers, collect fines and fees, support opening and closing procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to create engaging library displays that encourage exploration and learning. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with computers, digital tools, and standard office equipment.
