Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Ortho, Med-Surg Adult, Med-Surg Peds Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care experience License: Current RN or multi-state RN licensure Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification Must-Have: Meditech experience preferred Description: Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and lead the coordination of exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population. Utilize the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions. Prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. Be accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead or Nursing Supervisor during the shift. Experience the beauty and outdoor adventures of the Northeast Kingdom while working in a reputable healthcare setting. Candidates will need reliable personal transportation as public transportation and rideshare services are not available in the area. Arranging housing in advance is recommended for a smooth transition into the role.
