Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,439–$2,462 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 12‑hour shifts (3x12) Start date: 07/20/2026 Setting: Maternal‑newborn care, travel assignment Responsibilities Complete initial nursing histories, assess conditions, and develop individualized plans of care for assigned patients Triage patient care based on presenting symptoms; intervene and elevate as needed Administer medications accurately and safely Assess labor progression and manage induction and cervical ripening when indicated Respond to obstetric emergencies (e.g., prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, management of meconium, placenta previa/abruption) Monitor fetal heart rate, interpret monitoring data, and intervene as required Manage pregnancy‑related conditions such as hypertension and diabetes Assess newborn condition, identify heightened surveillance needs, and initiate appropriate interventions Perform neonatal resuscitation within scope of practice and certification; monitor for sepsis, hypoglycemia, hypothermia, and jaundice Educate patients and families on newborn care; involve them in decision‑making Communicate status changes promptly to the care team and collaborate with the provider Perform additional duties as requested to support patient care Requirements Active Wisconsin Registered Nursing license; must maintain licensure Education: Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred Certifications: AHA BLS within 1 month of hire; NRP within 6 months; STABLE within 1 year; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year Experience: OB/maternal‑newborn nursing experience preferred Ability to work in a maternal‑newborn care setting and to work night shifts Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week 13‑week travel assignment Night shift schedule Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter support Competitive weekly pay range #J-18808-Ljbffr HealthForce Healthcare
