Quality Technician

Quality Technician – Direct Hire Location: Bedford Park, IL Client: Kelly Services Kelly Services is currently seeking an experienced Quality Technician for a direct hire position with our client in Bedford Park, IL. Salary & Schedule Pay: $24 – $27 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm Position Summary Perform die and part inspections using a Romer Arm (or similar CMM/portable arm system) Promptly notify supervisors of any non-conformances identified during inspections Manually verify part/ die inspections using basic hand tools as needed Use forklift to transport materials as necessary Create and prove out Romer Arm programs using Polyworks Software (Keyence programming to be implemented in future) Perform dimensional studies, layouts, and capability studies; summarize results Update Romer and InfinityQS programs when Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) are released Maintain accurate records and follow established forms and procedures Required Skills & Qualifications Experience as a Romer Operator or with a similar CMM/portable arm system Strong background in performing dimensional studies/layouts and capability studies Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T Experience with program updates resulting from engineering changes (ECNs) Familiarity with InfinityQS or similar SPC software Basic computer skills Proficient in use of hand measuring tools: calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, feeler gauges, radius gauges, etc. Knowledge of general tolerances, blueprint reading, and calibration requirements Perks & Benefits Direct hire position with immediate eligibility for company benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Group Life Insurance Short Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Profit Sharing Paid Holidays & Vacation Uniforms provided Job stability and growth opportunities in a supportive, employee-focused environment Unique culture with a fun, family-like atmosphere About Kelly Work changes everything.
