The Opportunity As The Wellington Agency enters its next stage of growth, we are seeking an experienced recruitment executive to lead our Placement Division. This individual will oversee our team of Placement Specialists, personally manage key executive searches, develop recruiting strategy, drive revenue growth, and help shape the future of one of the nation's most respected household staffing firms. This is one of the most important leadership hires in our company's history. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will help define the future of our placement division while maintaining the exceptional level of service and discretion that has distinguished The Wellington Agency for more than three decades. The Role This is a player-coach position. You will personally manage and close high-value placements while simultaneously leading, coaching, and developing a team of placement specialists. You’ll own the full recruitment cycle from client intake and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and post-placement follow-through, and build the infrastructure and culture that makes the team scalable. Key Responsibilities Personally manage and close placements across the luxury household staffing verticals Lead, coach, and develop a team of placement specialists toward individual and collective revenue targets Own team KPIs: placement volume, time-to-fill, revenue per placement specialist, client retention, and candidate satisfaction Cultivate and deepen relationships with ultra high net worth clients, private family offices, and estate managers Build and maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline across all placement categories Establish and refine recruitment processes, playbooks, and performance standards Analyze team performance data and market trends to identify growth opportunities Own placement integrity and security Collaborate directly with firm leadership on business development, pricing, and service expansion What We’re Looking For 5–10+ years of experience in executive search, luxury staffing, household placement, or high-touch recruiting Demonstrated track record of personally closing placements and leading teams to revenue targets Strong network within the ultra high net worth household staffing ecosystem: estate management, private service, domestic staffing, or adjacent verticals Deep understanding of the full placement lifecycle, from client consultation and fee negotiation to candidate matching and guarantee management Experience managing and mentoring recruiters, with a coaching mindset and accountability-first leadership style Exceptional relationship skills: you understand that luxury clients expect white-glove service at every touchpoint Comfortable operating in a boutique environment where you are both a strategic leader and a hands‑on producer Preferred: experience placing household staff, estate professionals, or C‑suite executive assistants for private clients Preferred: Google Suite, Slack, Notion and CRM experience Base Salary: $100K–$115+ (commensurate with experience) Personal Placement Commission on individual billings Team Performance Bonus: annual bonus tied to team revenue targets Year 1 OTE: $180K–$200K+ for a strong performer Health Insurance Stipend: provided monthly toward individual coverage PTO: 3 weeks vacation annually + 4 sick days High‑visibility leadership role with direct access to firm ownership Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM base schedule; flexibility for client and candidate needs Boutique firm culture: entrepreneurial, collaborative, and performance‑driven Direct reporting relationship to the CEO of The Wellington Agency If you have built a career placing exceptional talent for exceptional clients and are ready to lead a growing team doing exactly that, we want to hear from you.
