Flowers Foods, Inc. is looking to add a talented HR Associate to our quickly growing HR team!

Title: HR Associate

Compensation: $22.00 - 24.00/hour

Office Location: Sacramento, CA or Modesto, CA

Position Summary:

This role secretarial duties for Human Resource Department, maintains records and files, and maintains communication with other in-plant offices and distribution centers. This role will also facilitate onboarding for new hires joining the team.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Maintain personnel records for all employees and inform HRSS of hires, promotions, transfers, termination and changes per established procedure.
• Compile lists of employees eligible for service awards.
• Prepare and maintain accident reports (Workers Compensation, Vehicle Accident, Product Liability, etc.).
• Prepare weekly and period reports and required governmental compliance reports.
• Handle Credit League transactions.
• Respond to requests for employment and salary verification.
• Manage background check process for conditional offers of employment.
• Distribute Incentive Programs Award/Prize and prepares and distributes applicable communication (lists, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Sarbanes Oxley, Harassment, Safety, etc).
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

Twelve months experience as secretary or clerk in business office.

Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary Range- $22-24/hour
