As part of our team, you'll work in a collaborative and mission-driven environment, using your expertise to improve the lives of those who have given so much.Position Requirements:U.S. Citizenship RequiredEntry-level physical therapists must be graduates of a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education or from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).CAPTE-accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education-Active State License (any U.S. state)Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationMinimum of Two Years of Experience within the last three years as a physical therapistKey Responsibilities:As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will: Assess patients for physical deficits and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Utilize data-driven techniques to create effective therapy programs. Apply therapy techniques tailored to each Veteran's unique condition. Recommend & Evaluate adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, and braces.
