PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Monday to Friday, with evening hours needed. Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role also involves delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs enabling effective returns to community activities and serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Additional responsibilities include maintaining adherence to compliance expectations, promoting patient and employee safety, and following all clinic guidelines. Responsibilities Completes comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Develops appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients towards discharge. Documents patient care accurately and in compliance with established guidelines. Participates in the student program to foster a positive learning environment. Creates individual professional development plans and pursues relevant continuing education. Maintains professional licensure and adheres to ethical standards. Implements performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. 1 - 2 years of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification.
