As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, delivery areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
