CDL B DriverThe CDL B Driver ensures safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products while providing exceptional customer service. This role prepares and inspects vehicles for operation, verifies shipping documentation, secures and unloads shipments, and delivers orders efficiently using effective routing. The CDL B Driver maintains compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations, monitors vehicle maintenance and driving records, and communicates proactively with customers and internal teams to ensure accuracy and satisfaction. This position builds strong customer relationships and consistently demonstrates the Company's core values. Candidates must provide a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for review prior to hire. Employment in a driving position is contingent upon the Company's approval of the candidate's driving record.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure a high level of customer service is always providedPrepare the truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing items, and verifying the accuracy of shipping papersUnload products in a neat and orderly manner with or without the assistance of the customerBuild and maintain connections with customers; build trust and develop relationshipsMaintain general understanding of productsComplete vehicle inspections: inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluid, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mindDeliver orders via the most effective route and ensure complete orders that are delivered in established time framesMaintain communication with the company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are receivedDocument delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer; report any discrepanciesIncrease customer satisfaction by collecting feedback on service, when necessary, report feedback to supervisor, and inform customers of new products and salesMaintain and monitor the truck maintenance and driving recordsMaintain a safe driving record that is free of violationsInspect, accept, or reject shipments received from vendorsOperate the forklift to move, unload, or hoist all inbound and outbound shipments from all the trucksComply with DOT and OSHA RequirementsPerform other various duties, as outlined by supervisorExude, understand, and demonstrate actions according to the Company's core values. These core values are courage, commitment, collaboration, compassion, ownership, and optimismQualifications and Physical Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentWillingness to participate in pre-employment and random drug screeningsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Ability to drive and maintain alertness for long periods of time2+yrs experience in driving tractor trailerActive Class B commercial driver licenseAbility to work in excessively hot and cold conditions due to the outside environment of various dutiesMaintain a clean driving recordCould be required to drive a Pickup Truck, Cabover, 2-Ton Truck, or Semi without Tractor attachedWear a safety vest when applicableOSHA regulated Steel Toe Shoes: Either an ASTM F243 M/I/50/C/50 or ANSI Z41 PT M/I/50/50.
