Facilities Technical SupportThis role involves providing facilities technical support within a highly secure environment critical to the nation's air traffic management system. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing physical infrastructure, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting telecommunications equipment across multiple locations. This is a long-term position requiring travel throughout the region with a focus on infrastructure integrity and safety compliance.Responsibilities:Monitor, maintain, and optimize physical facilities such as generators, HVAC systems, racks, cabling, and security systems to ensure high availability.Oversee vendor escorts by monitoring visitors, contractors, and non-badged personnel to protect sensitive infrastructure and restricted areas.Lead the installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of telecommunications equipment including switches, routers, and fiber-optic cables.Maintain and troubleshoot critical DC power systems, rectifiers, and battery backups to support 24/7 operational needs.Review technical designs and contractor work to confirm compliance with standards and safety protocols.Ensure adherence to regulatory and safety frameworks relevant to critical infrastructure.Support and implement physical security standards across all facilities.Travel throughout the region to support multiple locations, with expenses reimbursed, ensuring consistent infrastructure performance.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot system issues and implement improvements.Assist in ensuring all facility-related operations comply with FAA and other regulatory standards.Qualifications:This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.Minimum of 8 years' experience in facilities engineering or management.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.Strong expertise in HVAC, power systems, cabling standards, and building infrastructure management.Experience reviewing technical designs and contractor work for compliance.Knowledge of safety, security, and regulatory frameworks for critical facilities.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites and tasks.Willingness to travel regionally as needed.Must undergo FAA suitability process.Publishing Pay Range: $49.00 – $54.00 hourlyThis position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.About GDH:At GDH, we believe in the power of people and the importance of caring.
