Driver

Provide safe and reliable transportation to individuals with a range of disabilities in a wheelchair accessible van in order to gain access to community, events, supports, and services. Ensures all documentation is kept in compliance and submitted in a timely manner.

Principal Activities

• Provides transportation for Medicaid recipients to gain access to community, events, supports and services.

• This position is responsible for working within WNY Integrated Care social care technology and transportation platforms.

• Maintain a valid driver's license

• Maintaining a clean and safe driving environment.

• Abide by all road and safety rules and regulations.

• Establish effective communication channels with consumers and their providers.

• Complete all required trainings.

• Able to work independently and be a team player.

• Be accountable for all work-related job duties

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed or requested by supervisor and/or Executive Directors.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Desire and compassion to work with diverse populations

.• Valid driver's license with clean driving record is a MUST

• Current auto insurance

• Experience in a Human Service environment.

• Communicates well verbally and in writing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

• Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities

• Understands and performs job results in a non-judgmental manne
