As a key member of our dynamic medical, surgical, telemetry, and step‑down nursing teams, you will provide high‑quality patient care while maintaining flexibility across multiple units. Job Summary Responsibilities include: Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients. Respond to code blue events and initiate protocols for critical patients, including those in step‑down and progressive care units. Manage efficient patient flow: screening, preparation, general nursing care, admission, and testing. Educate patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions. Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results. Administer medications in accordance with physician orders. Check rooms daily for necessary supplies. Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (including phone triage when needed). Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited school. Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or an active Compact/Multi‑State RN license. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification. At least two (2) years of full‑time acute‑care hospital RN experience in a designated area. Shift and Schedule Full‑time, Night Shift – 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
