Diesel Mechanic

Keep critical commercial fleets and heavy-duty industrial machinery operating in peak technical condition! We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Diesel Mechanic to perform advanced diagnostic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance overhauls, and complex mechanical repairs across heavy diesel engines, advanced hydraulic networks, and pneumatic braking systems in our fully equipped shop.

salary: $60,000 - $79,999.99 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel equipment.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid flushes.

• Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to read fault codes and troubleshoot engine issues.

• Fabricate, repair, or replace worn mechanical components, linkages, and structural parts.

• Maintain precise repair logs and adhere strictly to shop safety guidelines.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
