Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
We are seeking an experienced physician with an internal medicine background to join an inpatient rehabilitation program in the Fort Wayne area. What You’ll Be Doing\n- \n

Provide comprehensive medical management for patients recovering in an inpatient rehabilitation facility

Oversee patient progress, adjust care plans, and address both acute and long-term health needs
\n - \n
Review diagnostics, lab work, and medication regimens to ensure safe and effective treatment
\n - \n
Partner with therapists, specialists, and nursing staff to support recovery goals and optimize patient outcomes
\n - \n
Offer education and guidance to patients and families as they adapt to rehabilitation and chronic condition management
\n - \n
Encourage wellness and preventive practices that strengthen long-term health
\n - \n
Serve as a trusted resource and medical leader within the facility, supporting both patients and staff

At least 1 year of experience in internal medicine required

Previous inpatient rehab exposure preferred, though not mandatory

Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license
\n - \n
DEA certification with prescriptive authority in Indiana
