Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, articulating each step with warmth and clarity
  • Work in close collaboration with radiologists and doctors to ensure high-quality output of diagnostic images
  • Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that arise
  • Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records seamlessly within the electronic medical records system
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technologies and applicable methodologies
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Necessary Certifications
  • Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal capabilities, and a knack for creating rapport with patients
