Position Overview We invite you to consider joining our knowledgeable and caring team as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . Here, you will utilize the latest in imaging technology to perform diagnostic exams, work alongside dedicated clinicians, and contribute to the peace of mind of patients through approachable, compassionate care. Core Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, articulating each step with warmth and clarity
- Work in close collaboration with radiologists and doctors to ensure high-quality output of diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that arise
- Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records seamlessly within the electronic medical records system
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technologies and applicable methodologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal capabilities, and a knack for creating rapport with patients
- Adept at working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care
